Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture through your Google account authentication. We do not collect or store passwords, as authentication is handled exclusively through Google OAuth.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including features used, session duration, and performance metrics. This data is anonymized and used to improve the Service.

Device information. We collect information about your device, including operating system version, GPU model, display resolution, and available memory. This helps us optimize the application for your hardware.

Project data. If you use cloud synchronization, your project files (.apx format) are stored on our servers. Project files remain your property and are not accessed by us except as necessary to provide the Service.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
  • Optimize rendering performance based on hardware profiles

3. Information sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers. We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting (Supabase), payment processing, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Collaboration. When you use real-time collaboration features, your display name and cursor activity are visible to other participants in the session. Project content shared through collaboration is accessible to all session participants.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase, with data centers located in compliance with applicable regulations. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Project files stored in the cloud will be deleted within 30 days of account deletion. We recommend exporting your projects before deleting your account.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Export your project data at any time
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

7. Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session and preferences. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Service is used. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

9. International data transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country of residence. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of information to countries that may have different data protection rules than your country.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service.
